At the 2018 Newport Folk Festival, Fruit Bats‘ Eric D. Johnson curated the special set “Beneath the Sacred Mountain” featuring the Spacebomb House Band, Phil Cook, Josh Kaufman, Matthew E. White, James Mercer of the Shins, and more. As a part of their Newport Folk Revival Radio series this weekend, you can hear the set air at 3pm EDT on Saturday, August 1st. Johnson also guested on “If I Had A Song” from the 2019 festival, singing “Suite Judy Blue Eyes” with Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes and Mercer, which airs at 6pm on Sunday, August 2nd. MORE INFO
